Richest Cities in the United States of America in 2019

Atherton, California, whose family income averaged $540,600 or more in 2018, topped the Bloomberg Richest Places annual index for 2018-2019.

Atherton Mayor Bill Widmer said the streets and lot sizes of at least an offer residents privacy with Facebook, Google and Stanford University all a short drive away.

But a mixture of Midwest and Southwest cities were also contained in Bloomberg’s list, such as Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, which came in the third location. The region is, in fact, a suburb of Denver, approximately 20 minutes from downtown.

The neighborhood has an average household income of $394,259 and is home to Peyton Manning and John Elway, both former Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks for the Denver Broncos.

More than half of the top 100 richest places in America were in the NYC area or California. A handful of Southwest and Midwest areas made the top 25.
